As of now, there is no official news regarding Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. Although there are quite a few troublesome speculations going on over the internet.
We are all well aware of the accidental photo which Masafumi Mima(sound director at MAPPA Studio) revealed. The photo had a folder that said “final season part 1”. This really does reveal that the final season will have two parts but it may also have a different meaning in its original context.
Another reveal showed Netflix Japan hinting at the possibility of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 when they sent a notification of the Attack on Titan Final season as “Final Season part 1”. But this can easily be edited and photoshopped by fans. In our opinion, this cannot be taken as solid proof but rather as fan speculation.
Possibilities of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2
The manga has gone really far in terms of plot. There is too much to cover in just a span of 16 episodes. Any attempt made to cover the rest of the story in 16 episodes will result in a huge failure. The hype must continue and last for a longer period of time.
Another possibility is that MAPPA Studios will complete the ending of Attack on Titan in a movie format. This is a possibility considering the fact that no official news has come from MAPPA Studios regarding Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2.
One major fact that we must acknowledge is how silent the entire Attack on Titan team is regarding the Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 speculations. If the speculations aren’t true, they must immediately shut down these statements and prevent the spread of fake news.
