The last episode of Horimiya was entertaining to watch. In this post, we will be talking about Horimiya Episode 5 and what will happen next in the series. Hori and Miyamura’s increasing affection for each other is adorable. It’s fascinating to watch it grow. In the previous episode, we also hint that the story will delve more into the side characters’ romantic interests, such as Ishimiya.

Episode 4 of Horimiya ended on a cliffhanger, although not exactly a cliffhanger. It will further delve into the romances of other main characters. This will be interesting to watch as there are a lot of good feelings in Horimiya. However, I am more excited about how the relationship will turn out between Hori and Miyamura.

Horimiya Episode 5 Release Date

Episode 5 of Horimiya will follow its original release date; there is no delay in the schedule. Horimiya Episode 5 is going to release on Sunday, 7 February 2021, at 12:30 AM JST.  However, be sure to change to time and date of release of the new episode of Hori san to Miyamura kun to the timezone you live in.

Horimiya Episode 5 Recap

Note: This section has spoilers from Ep 4 of Hormiya; if you want to avoid them, I suggest skipping this section.

The last episode started with a cute moment between Ishiwaka and Sakura. It seems like love at first sight for both of them, but they don’t do anything in particular to pursue each other. After that, Ishiwaka meets with Hori, and they share icecream, which Hori bought for them. However, Toru doesn’t like Melon ice cream, so they decide to give it to the Student Council President.

The president invites them to the student council room to hang out during lunch. Hori and Miyamura lose the Rock Paper and Scissors and goes to buy lunch for everyone. Sakura comes to know that Ishikawa has a crush on Hori in that period and is also over her.

Hori and Miyamura get late while bringing back the food as Miyamura is very clumsy and drops food all the way. Unfortunately, the cola which Ishiwaka ordered gets carbonated. Miya and Hori are very sorry and says that he and Hori Screwed up.

Later, when Miyamura and Hori are studying together, they both complain about the heat. This makes Hori think that Miyamura is not shy about removing his clothes. This makes her feel that he is shameless. They both then talk about Miyamura’s old friend and his only friend in Middle School.

Shindou, the new character, is dating someone and is inviting Miyamura on a double date with him. On the next date, Hori bumps into Shindou. Miyamura and Ishikawa are also there, so they think that a guy is hitting on Hori. But in fact, they both were talking about Miyamura. Still, Miyamura hits him and keeps on beating him.

Hori’s Fever

Hori is struck down with a fever one day. This makes his little brother worried, and he ends up calling Miyamura. Sota goes to school and tells her sister to take the day off. Hori has terrible dreams about her mom leaving her for work when she is sick.

She doesn’t like being alone and knows that her mom is working hard for Sota and her. When she wakes up, she finds that Miyamura is taking care of her. When he leaves the room to get something, Hori thinks he will like her mom. Miyamura assures that he is not going but bringing back something to drink and eat.Horimiya Episode 5Horimiya Episode 5

Hori eats the medicines and sleeps again. Miyamura leaves for school, but he tells Hori that he loves her thinking her to be asleep. Hori’s fever goes away after listening to the confession. However, she feels if she can be like this for a few more days.

Horimiya Episode 5 Where to Watch?

Funimation is showing Horimiya outside Asia in North America and Brazil. Wakanim and AnimeLab will also have Horimiya Episode 5.
